Magento Installation Guide:

First, you can download the latest version of Magento code source at: http://www.magentocommerce.com/download

Choose CE version (Magento Community Edition), a free version of Magento. You can use the standard compressed .tar.gz or .bz according to the decompression software that your computer is available.

After downloading the installer, you unzip this file to web directory where you want to set up or upload to Hosting via FTP protocol.

This step requires you to set the main parameters for the Magento store. These parameters you can change in the governance of Magento, you should be able to default and then change back. These parameters include:

+ Locale: Country / territory of stores. Locale is set that Magento will use which language to shop.
+ Time Zone: Time Zone of the stores
+ Default Currency: The original currency. If the store supports multiple currencies, the currency will be converted at the exchange rate with the base currency.

chmod 777 app / etc

+ Database Type: Select the type of database.The MySQL as normal.

+ User User: Name Access database
+ User Password: Password of account access database
+ Table prefix: prefix table names in the database. Leave blank or use the prefix "mage_" to distinguish if used in conjunction with other scripts such as Joomla, Wordpress etc.
+ Base url: the original path to website. Magento will automatically receive current path as the original path.
+ Admin path: Magento allows you configure the path to the admin panel. Select the "Admin" for the website is easy to remember for the trial phase.
+ Enable chart: Turn guys statistics for the board administrator.
+ Skip base url validation before next step: Stop checking the root path for the next step. Use if you manually enter the "Base url" above.
+ Use webserver rewrite: Use function to create friendly path (Apache mod_rewrite).
+ User Secure SSL: Use security SSL protocol. Establish if your website to buy a certificate for SSL encryption.
+ Session Storage Option: Option to save the session data to the user's website. Often used as a file store.
After you complete the configuration parameters, click “Next” to go to the next step.

Enter the corresponding value:

+ First name: Name of the administrator
+ Last name:
+ Email: email of the administrator
+ User name: The name used to log in
+ Password: Enter the password 2 times. Note the shortest password is 7 characters, including numbers and letters.
+ Encrypt Key: Lock security. Magento will use this string to the string to encrypt confidential.
